Big Sudoku (“the App”) is made by ITPM Group (“we”, “us”). We designed the App
to respect your privacy. You do not need an account, and the App
does not ask you for your name, address, or any other personal details. This
policy explains the limited data the App handles and the choices you have.
The short version: Your puzzles, progress, and settings are
stored on your own device. We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage
statistics and crash reports so we can improve the App. We do not sell your
data, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
1. Information the App handles
Stored on your device only. Your game progress, streaks,
achievements, statistics, and settings are saved locally on your device and
are not sent to our servers.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). Anonymous,
aggregated information about how the App is used — for example which screens
are opened and which difficulty levels are played — together with general
technical data such as device model, operating-system version, and country.
This is not used to identify you personally.
Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics). If the App
crashes, an anonymous crash report (including device state and a technical
stack trace) is sent so we can fix the problem.
Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). If you allow
notifications, your device is issued an anonymous push token so we can send
occasional reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS
Settings.
Voice input (microphone & speech recognition). The
optional “say a number” feature uses your microphone only while you are
actively dictating a number, and Apple’s speech recognition to turn the
spoken number into a digit on the board. The audio is used solely for that
purpose and is not stored or sent to us.
Purchases. If you buy an optional membership, the
purchase is handled by Apple. We receive only anonymous purchase status from
Apple — never your payment-card details.
2. How we use this information
We use the limited data above only to operate the App, understand how it is
used in aggregate, fix crashes and bugs, deliver any notifications you opt into,
and improve the experience. We do not use it to advertise to you and we do not
sell it.
3. Who we share it with
The analytics, crash, and notification data is processed on our behalf by
Google Firebase. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not share your data
with any other third parties, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Your choices and rights
Erase your data. Use “Reset Progress” in the App, or
delete the App, to remove the data stored on your device.
Notifications. Turn them on or off in iOS Settings ›
Notifications › Big Sudoku.
Microphone. Grant or revoke microphone access in iOS
Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
Analytics. You can limit ad/usage tracking in iOS
Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Analytics.
GDPR / CCPA. If you are in a region covered by these laws,
you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to
its processing. Contact us using the email below and we will help.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data retention and security
On-device data remains until you reset progress or delete the App. Analytics
and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google’s standard retention
periods. We rely on Apple’s and Google’s industry-standard security to protect
data in transit and at rest.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated”
date above when we do.
