1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the MileQuest mobile application (“the App”), you (“you” or “the user”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. The App is published by ITPM Group.
2. Licence to Use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. This licence does not grant you the right to redistribute, reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App.
3. In-App Purchases
The App is free to download and includes a limited amount of free playtime per trip. Unlimited play is offered through an optional auto-renewing subscription, available as:
- MileQuest Pro Weekly — auto-renewing every 7 days
- MileQuest Pro Yearly — auto-renewing every 12 months
Pricing. The price in your local currency is shown inside the App and on the App Store before you confirm any purchase. Prices vary by country and may change; the price displayed at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
Auto-renewing subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal is charged at the current listed price within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on iOS). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- No refund is issued for the unused part of the current period upon cancellation. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies, not ours.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, where one is offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Purchases are made by adults
Purchase screens sit behind a parental gate. By making a purchase you confirm that you are the account holder, or that you have the account holder’s permission.
Restoring purchases
Use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the subscription screen to restore an existing entitlement on a new or reset device.
4. Content and Offline Use
The App ships with all the content needed to play offline. It may additionally download new questions over the internet when a connection is available. This is a convenience, not a requirement: if the download fails or you are offline, the App remains fully playable.
We may add, change, correct, or retire game content over time.
5. User-Generated Content
The App does not allow you to submit, upload, publish, or share content, and provides no chat or messaging of any kind. The traveller names, ages, trips and scores you enter are stored on your own device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Safety while travelling
MileQuest is intended to be played by passengers. Games that require looking at the screen automatically exclude the person marked as the driver.
You remain solely responsible for driving safely. Do not operate the App while driving, and do not allow it to distract you from the road. Follow all applicable traffic laws. We accept no liability for any accident, injury, or loss arising from use of the App while operating a vehicle.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its content delivery systems, or related networks.
- Use automated means to access, scrape, or interact with the App or its content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, its artwork, and its game content are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond the licence in section 2.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights, including any right to cancel a digital purchase within the applicable cooling-off period. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple’s refund process.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your licence to use the App if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting the App.
14. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
